Placements24 is seeking a Senior Food and Beverage Manager to lead a flagship fine-dining establishment in Centurion, Gauteng. The role oversees all F&B operations, menu development, staff management, and cost control to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The successful candidate will bring at least 7 years in high-end F&B, strong leadership, and a passion for culinary trends, with a focus on revenue growth and compliance with health and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in F&B management within high-end restaurants or hotels.
• Experience with profitability and cost control in fine-dining settings.
• Understanding of culinary trends and guest service excellence.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all daily operations of the food and beverage department, including restaurants, bars, and room service.
• Develop and implement innovative menus and beverage programs in collaboration with the executive chef.
• Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing F&B team, ensuring adherence to service standards.
• Oversee inventory management, procurement, and cost control to maximize profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Develop and execute strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage the F&B budget, forecast sales, and control expenses effectively.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching to staff.
• Uphold the restaurant's reputation for quality, service, and ambiance.
