Placements24 is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer to join the Kimberley-based operations team, overseeing offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities. You will lead asset integrity, maintenance strategies, and support modifications to production facilities in a challenging environment.

This hybrid role offers the chance to apply engineering expertise, manage risk and compliance, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliable production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related discipline is required.
• 7+ years of experience in facilities engineering, maintenance or project engineering in Oil & Gas.
• Strong understanding of structural integrity, materials science, and industry codes/standards.
• Experience with process safety, risk management, and HAZOP studies.
• Proficiency in interpreting P&IDs, equipment specifications, and maintenance documentation.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, especially in Kimberley.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Senior Facilities Engineer to join their operational team in Kimberley . This hybrid role is crucial for ensuring the integrity, safety, and efficient operation of our offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities. You will be involved in maintenance strategies, integrity management, and supporting modifications and upgrades to production facilities. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset integrity and maintenance strategies for production facilities, including pipelines, platforms, and processing plants.
• Oversee inspections, testing, and repair programs to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot operational and equipment issues, providing timely engineering solutions.
