Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Petroleum Engineer with a Facilities Engineering specialization to join their team, working remotely from Port Elizabeth. The role focuses on designing, managing, and optimizing surface facilities for safe and efficient oil and gas production.

You will lead facility design and commissioning, implement maintenance strategies, and conduct risk assessments (HAZOP) while ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years in facilities engineering within Oil & Gas.
• Experience designing and operating oil and gas processing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of process safety management (PSM) and equipment integrity.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and simulation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and remote collaboration skills.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
