Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Engineer - Energy Operations to join a remote, industry-leading team focused on optimizing energy production and processing facilities.

You will analyze complex data, design and implement energy-saving improvements, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and guide projects from concept through execution with cross-functional teams across borders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Pr. Eng. designation is advantageous.
• 7+ years in process engineering within energy/chemical sectors.
• Proven track record in optimizing industrial processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize energy production and processing operations.
• Develop and implement energy-focused process improvements.
• Design and troubleshoot thermal, fluid, and chemical systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations for modifications.
• Create and maintain P&IDs and operating manuals.
• Lead PHAs and implement mitigation recommendations.
• Monitor KPIs and report on performance.
• Stay updated on new energy processing technologies.
