You will work cross-functionally with hardware and QA and contribute to design reviews, architecture, and cybersecurity best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in embedded software development, with at least 4 years specifically in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages for embedded systems.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet.
• Familiarity with embedded operating systems (e.g., RTOS like QNX, OSEK) and development environments.
• Experience with debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Understanding of automotive functional safety (ISO 26262) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for automotive control units (ECUs), infotainment systems, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C/C++ code, adhering to strict coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and quality assurance, to define software requirements and ensure successful integration.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring code quality.
• Develop and implement unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of software modules and systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in automotive software development, including AUTOSAR, AUTOKO, and cybersecurity best practices.
