Job summary

AECOM SA is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead design and project support across LV and MV systems up to 132kV. You will prepare budgets, schedules and specifications while interfacing with clients and vendors in a hybrid Pretoria-based role.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in the built environment, a BSc/Engineering degree, and professional ECSA registration; a MSc/Eng is preferred, with strong technical and coordination skills for multidisciplinary projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ Years' experience within the built environment after obtainment of Qualification.
• Bachelor of Science or Engineering from an accredited University.
• Master of Science or Engineering preferred.
• Professionally registered as an Engineer with ECSA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage electrical engineering schedules, estimates, progress reports, meetings, procurement etc.
• Electrical engineering and design during all project phases according to client, national and international standards.
• Develop and check equipment purchase specifications and RFQs for MV/LV systems.
• Provide field engineering support to construction and commissioning teams.
