Qualifications

• BSc Electrical Engineering Degree and professional registration with ECSA.
• 12+ years of electrical project engineering experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Data Centre experience will be beneficial.
• Strong ability to lead engineers and collaborate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and review of complex electrical designs and engineering solutions.
• Preparation and management of schedules, estimates, progress reports, meetings, procurement etc.
• Electrical engineering and design during all project phases according to client, national and international standards.
• Assessing of Client / Project Electrical Engineering Requirements.
• Lead a project team of senior engineers, engineers and BIM modellers to achieve a quality design to the project deadlines
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, and technical workshops.
• Prepare concept design and evaluate options based on objectives / requirements.
• Cost Estimation of electrical Engineering scope of work, including equipment and construction costs.
