Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design engineering with focus on power systems/renewable energy.
• Proven expertise with AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, PSS/E or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of power system analysis, protection schemes and grid interconnection requirements.
• Experience with renewable energy technologies (solar PV, battery storage) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and engineering for complex projects including solar farms, battery storage systems, and microgrids.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring layouts using CAD software.
• Perform power systems analysis, load flow studies, fault current calculations, and protection coordination.
• Select components and switchgear ensuring compatibility with project specs.
• Prepare technical documentation including design reports, specifications, BOMs, and testing procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other engineering disciplines to ensure design integrity.
• Conduct design reviews and mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Ensure compliance with national and international electrical standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Stay updated with advancements in power electronics and grid integration strategies.
