With 9+ years of relevant experience and Pr.Eng registration, you will ensure design quality, regulatory compliance, and successful delivery across multiple projects in Gauteng and beyond.

Qualifications

• Requires 9+ years in electrical power distribution design and engineering.
• Experience leading design teams and managing technical aspects of power projects.
• Substation design, MV/LV reticulation, and protection systems knowledge.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP and power system analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for power distribution projects from concept to detailed design.
• Develop single-line diagrams, schematics, and equipment specifications for substations.
• Perform power system studies including load flow, fault analysis, and protection coordination.
• Oversee construction drawings, cable schedules, and site layouts.
• Mentor and guide a team of electrical engineers and designers.
• Liaise with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
• Review designs for compliance with codes (NRS, IEC) and best practices.
• Provide technical support during execution, construction, and commissioning.
