This position requires a seasoned professional to lead the electrical design of complex power distribution projects, including substations, reticulation networks, and renewable energy integration. You will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, ensuring design quality, and managing client relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and engineering for power distribution projects, from conceptualization to detailed design.
• Develop single-line diagrams, schematics, and equipment specifications for substations and distribution networks.
• Perform power system studies, including load flow, fault analysis, and protection coordination.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of substation design, medium and low voltage reticulation, and protection systems.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and power system analysis tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).
• Strong understanding of relevant South African electrical codes and standards.

• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration with ECSA is essential.
