Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in electrical design and engineering, focusing on power or control systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) and simulation tools (ETAP, PSpice).
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards (SANS, IEC, IEEE).
• Project management and leadership experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of electrical schematics, layouts, and specifications.
• Analyze electrical systems to optimize performance and identify issues.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and project teams for seamless integration.
• Prepare technical documentation and tests procedures.
