Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical design and site installation.
• Experience with MV/LV distribution systems is essential.
• Registration as Pr. Eng. or Pr. Tech. Eng. preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical designs, schematics, single-line diagrams, and panel layouts.
• Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and electrical protection design.
• Specify electrical equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Review and approve shop drawings and installation plans submitted by contractors.
• Provide technical support and supervision during the electrical installation phase.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure work is performed according to design specifications and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure all installations comply with local electrical codes and regulations.
• Prepare as-built drawings and final project documentation.
