Placements24 is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to lead and deliver electrical infrastructure projects from design through completion in our Benoni office.

You will manage scope, budget, schedule, and resources, mentor junior engineers, and ensure safety and quality across commercial, industrial and utilities sectors. On-site, hands-on leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in electrical project engineering and management.
• Proven experience managing complex electrical projects from start to finish.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical design principles, power systems, and building services.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Strong project management methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

This is an on-site position requiring a strong leadership presence and the ability to drive projects from conception through to completion. You will be responsible for the detailed design, planning, execution, and monitoring of electrical infrastructure projects for diverse clients across sectors such as commercial, industrial, and utilities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills, a thorough understanding of electrical engineering principles, and a proven track record of successful project delivery within budget and schedule. • Experience with contract administration and construction supervision.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration with ECSA is highly desirable.
