Qualifications

• A relevant degree in Environmental Health, Public Health or OHS.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive EH&S management experience focusing on sanitation.
• Proven ability to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of SA environmental and occupational health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic EH&S policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify hazards related to sanitation and public health.
• Design and deliver training on sanitation, waste management, and infection control.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation and evaluate safety measures.
• Investigate incidents and perform root-cause analyses with corrective actions.
• Collaborate with authorities and stakeholders to meet environmental standards.
• Maintain records of inspections, audits, training, and incidents.
