Placements24 is seeking a Senior E-commerce Marketing Specialist in Midrand, Gauteng. You will drive online sales, optimize customer journeys, and lead multi-channel campaigns across Google, social media, email, and content marketing.

You will shape strategies, analyze data, collaborate with web and design teams, and manage budgets to maximise ROI while building brand presence in a fast‑paced online retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce marketing and social media management.
• Proven experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other digital advertising platforms.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and content marketing.
• Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, conversions, and customer loyalty for our e-commerce platform.
• Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), and other relevant channels to maximize ROI.
• Oversee the content strategy for social media, ensuring engaging and on-brand content is published consistently to build community and drive sales.
• Analyze website performance, customer behavior, and campaign data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, reporting key metrics to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the web development and design teams to ensure a seamless user experience and optimized conversion funnel on the website.
• Manage email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, A/B testing, and automation, to nurture leads and retain existing customers.
• Stay abreast of the latest e-commerce and social media marketing trends, tools, and best practices, proactively recommending innovative approaches.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and threats.
• Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
