Placements24 is seeking a Senior E-commerce Marketing Specialist to shape and execute digital marketing strategies across notable e-commerce platforms. The role is remote-first, offering autonomy while based near Sandton, Gauteng, ZA, and prioritizing ROI, CPA, and conversions.

You will lead paid campaigns, optimize organic social efforts, and leverage analytics to drive traffic, engagement, and sales in a fast-growing online retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in e-commerce marketing with emphasis on social media and digital advertising.
• Proven experience managing significant advertising budgets with ROI, CPA, and conversion rate improvements.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media, content, email, and affiliate marketing.
• Proficiency with marketing analytics tools, especially Google Analytics, and translating data into action.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and CRM systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Remote work experience and ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to grow traffic and sales across e-commerce platforms.
• Manage paid campaigns (Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) with focus on ROI and CAC.
• Oversee organic social media, content creation, community management and influencer outreach.
• Analyze website and campaign data to deliver actionable insights and optimizations.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to spot trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and creative teams for cohesive campaigns.
• Manage email marketing campaigns, segmentation, content, and automation.
• Regularly report KPIs and recommend strategic adjustments to senior management.
