Placements24 in Stellenbosch is seeking a Senior E-commerce Analyst & Optimization Specialist to lead data-driven decision making for a high-visibility online fashion platform. You will drive CRO initiatives, analyze user behavior, and design testing programs to lift conversion rates and revenue.

The role requires 5+ years in web analytics and CRO within e-commerce, proficiency with GA/Adobe Analytics, Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize, and strong SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field (stats, math, econ, CS, marketing analytics)
• 5+ years in web analytics and CRO in e-commerce
• Expert in analytics tools (GA, Adobe Analytics) and A/B testing platforms
• Strong statistical analysis and experimental design
• Experience with data viz tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a bonus
• SQL proficiency is highly desirable
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Hybrid work experience and collaboration
• Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and UX principles

Responsibilities

• Analyze website traffic, user behavior and conversion funnels
• Develop and implement A/B and multivariate testing strategies
• Identify friction points and propose data-backed improvements
• Create dashboards and reports for stakeholders
• Analyze sales data, segmentation and marketing performance
• Collaborate with marketing, product, UX/UI and development teams
• Conduct user research, surveys, and usability testing
• Stay current with CRO and web analytics best practices
• Provide strategic recommendations for site design and content
• Mentor junior analysts and share best practices
