Placements24 is seeking an E-commerce Analytics Specialist in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. The role focuses on transforming raw data into actionable insights to guide strategy and optimize the online customer journey.

You will track, analyze, and report on website performance, marketing effectiveness, customer behavior, and sales trends. The ideal candidate has a strong quantitative background, 4+ years in analytics, and proficiency with GA4, GTM, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 4+ years in web/marketing analytics or BI, preferably in e-commerce.
• Proficiency with GA4 and GTM is essential.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI/Looker).
• Strong knowledge of A/B testing and CRO principles.
• SQL proficiency for data extraction and manipulation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to explain data to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze e-commerce metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, LTV, churn).
• Develop dashboards/reports using GA4, Power BI, Tableau.
• Assess digital marketing performance (SEO/SEM/social/email) and ROI.
• Analyze customer behavior to identify trends and UX improvements.
• Conduct A/B tests and CRO experiments to improve conversions.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales for data-driven recommendations.
• Ensure data accuracy across analytics platforms and reports.
• Present findings to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
