The ideal candidate brings extensive drilling, well design, and risk management experience, and can work closely with field teams and management to support exploration and production objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years of drilling engineering experience in Oil & Gas.
• Strong knowledge of well control, drilling fluids, and directional drilling.
• Experience with drilling software and project management tools.
• Ability to manage complex drilling projects with operational integrity.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drilling programs, well designs, and procedures.
• Compute casing, cementing, and directional drilling plans.
• Identify and mitigate drilling hazards and risks.
• Supervise drilling operations ensuring safety compliance.
• Optimize performance by monitoring key parameters and adjustments.
• Coordinate with service providers for equipment and technical support.
