Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on drilling engineering experience, offshore-focused.
• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Proven ability to plan and execute complex offshore drilling operations.
• Strong understanding of offshore drilling technologies, equipment and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive drilling programs and well plans for offshore exploration and development wells.
• Specify and select drilling equipment, fluids, and technologies.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for drilling operations.
• Supervise drilling operations on rig sites, managing crews and ensuring safety protocols.
• Perform real-time drilling performance monitoring and analysis to optimize operations.
