Senior Doctor Recruitment Specialist

Specialisation: Full 360 Recruitment and Healthcare Staffing

Location: South Africa, Fully Remote
Contract Type: Independent Contractor
Working Hours: 11:30 pm to 8:00 am South African time
Salary: R28 000 per month depending on experience
Additional Earnings: Commission and performance incentives once established

About the Position

We are looking for a confident and results driven Senior Doctor Recruitment Specialist to join an expanding recruitment business supporting healthcare organisations across Australia.

This opportunity is suited to an experienced recruitment professional with proven 360 recruitment experience and a strong understanding of doctor recruitment.

The successful candidate will manage recruitment assignments independently while developing client partnerships, engaging medical professionals and contributing to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle including business development, sourcing, screening, interviewing and placement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare clients and medical professionals.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing client accounts.
• Understand client requirements and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
• Proactively source and engage qualified doctors through targeted headhunting and professional networks.
• Conduct comprehensive candidate interviews and evaluate experience, motivations and career goals.
• Present carefully selected candidate shortlists with clear recommendations.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain communication between clients and candidates.
• Negotiate employment offers and support successful onboarding.
• Work towards agreed recruitment, placement and business development targets.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate information.

Essential Requirements

• Proven full 360 recruitment experience including client acquisition and candidate management.
• Direct doctor recruitment experience is essential.
• Strong business development and client relationship management capabilities.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to source and engage medical professionals.
• Strong candidate assessment and qualification experience.
• Confidence negotiating and influencing recruitment decisions.
• Ability to provide trusted career guidance to candidates.
• Strong commercial awareness, resilience and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently within a performance driven environment.
• Commitment to Australian business hours and flexibility for additional candidate calls outside scheduled hours.

Preferred Experience

Previous international healthcare recruitment experience is strongly preferred. Experience working with Australian clients and using JobAdder would be advantageous.
