Senior Insurance Recruitment Consultant

Specialisation: 360 Insurance Recruitment

Location: South Africa, Remote
Employment Structure: Independent Contractor
Working Hours: 11:30 pm to 8:00 am South African Standard Time
Salary: R17 000 to R34 000 per month depending on experience

Commission and Bonus Opportunity

This opportunity is ideal for a confident recruitment professional with proven experience managing the full 360 recruitment lifecycle and a strong background in insurance recruitment.

You will take ownership of client relationships, candidate sourcing, business development and successful placements while delivering an exceptional recruitment experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from business development through to placement and onboarding.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance industry clients and candidates.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop existing client accounts.
• Source and engage qualified insurance professionals through various recruitment channels.
• Conduct candidate screening and interviews to assess experience, career goals and cultural fit.
• Present suitable candidate shortlists with clear recommendations.
• Coordinate interviews, manage feedback and negotiate offers.
• Provide candidates with trusted career advice and guidance.
• Achieve recruitment, placement and business development targets.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate information.

Essential Requirements

• Proven 360 recruitment experience including client and candidate management.
• Previous recruitment experience specifically within the insurance industry.
• Strong business development and relationship management capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Confident negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Proven candidate sourcing, interviewing and qualification experience.
• Commercial awareness, resilience and a results driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Commitment to working Australian business hours.
• Flexibility to accommodate candidates outside standard working hours when required.
• Ability to understand complex information and provide informed recruitment advice.
