Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Vereeniging to optimize cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The role blends on-site collaboration with remote flexibility in a hybrid model.

You will drive automation, implement IaC, and ensure security and reliability across environments using AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling. The ideal candidate has 5+ years' experience and strong scripting skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps/SRE or similar experience.
• Strong scripting skills and automation mindset.
• Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Implement IaC using Terraform or Ansible.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with teams to optimize workflows and deployment efficiency.
• Apply security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines.
