Placements24 is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a fully remote role to design, automate, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will own CI/CD pipelines, IaC using Terraform/Ansible, and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.

You will script in Python and Bash, enhance monitoring, and collaborate across development and operations in an Agile environment. Remote work flexibility and security best practices are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
• Cloud infra experience AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Hands-on with Terraform/Ansible; Docker and Kubernetes expertise.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell; CI/CD tooling knowledge.
• Strong networking, security, monitoring fundamentals; Git proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related infrastructure engineering role.
• Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring concepts in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for remote work.
