Placements24 is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a remote-first role helping design, automate, and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes. You will build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, implement IaC with Terraform or Ansible, and ensure reliability, security, and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps or SRE, strong scripting (Python, Bash, Go), and excellent collaboration skills for remote

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
• Strong AWS experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
• IaC with Terraform or Ansible.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Implement IaC with Terraform or Ansible.
• Develop monitoring/logging with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.
• Ensure security, availability, and performance of production systems.
• Collaborate with development teams for smooth deployments.
• Participate in on-call rotation for incident response.
