Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior DevOps Engineer for a leading SaaS provider with a fully distributed team. You will design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP, emphasizing reliability and performance.

Responsibilities include IaC with Terraform/Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, monitoring, and security practices. You will work with global teams, participate in on-call rotations, mentor juniors, and optimize deployments from your remote workspace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering.
• 5+ years in DevOps/SRE roles with cloud focus.
• Proven AWS/Azure/GCP experience.
• Expertise in Terraform/Ansible; Python/Bash scripting.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong networking, security, and monitoring knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting in distributed systems.
• Strong communication in remote agile teams.
• Experience with microservices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available cloud infra.
• Implement IaC with Terraform/Ansible/Pulumi.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
• Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for system health.
• Automate operational tasks and provisioning for reliability.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and production issues.
• Enforce security best practices across infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call rotations and mentor junior engineers.
