Job summary

SET Recruitment Consultants is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to assess new and existing clients, analyze financial statements and evaluate deal structuring within the Credit Department. The role requires strong analytical skills and independent judgement to manage risk and profitability.

You will prepare credit reports, review security, and collaborate with Operations to ensure compliant payouts while mentoring junior analysts and upholding policy standards.

Qualifications

• At least five years of credit analysis experience with complex deals.
• Understanding of asset finance, security structures and deal profitability.
• Knowledge of FICA and NCR regulatory requirements.
• Advanced Excel and experience with credit systems or workflow tools like Monday.com or CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess new and existing clients, including directors, shareholders and related entities.
• Review financial statements, cash flows and collateral to determine credit risk.
• Evaluate deal structure, affordability and security.
• Prepare clear credit reports with recommendations for approval/deferral/decline.
• Mentor junior analysts and ensure adherence to credit policy.
