With a minimum of 10 years in corporate and international law, you will lead high-value transactions, negotiate complex agreements, and shape policy and risk management worldwide.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in corporate and international law, including in-house experience.
• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa (or equivalent) in good standing.
• Proven track record in cross-border transactions and corporate structuring.
• Deep knowledge of international business law, securities regulations, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong leadership and strategic communication suited for a remote role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage significant corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures, from a legal perspective.
• Provide expert legal counsel on international corporate governance, securities law, and compliance with global regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate high-value, complex commercial agreements with international counterparties.
• Oversee intellectual property strategy, including registration, protection, and enforcement of patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
• Manage and resolve cross-border disputes, working with external counsel as necessary.
• Develop and implement robust corporate policies and procedures to ensure global compliance and mitigate legal risks.
