Placements24 is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead projects in Tembisa, Gauteng. The role covers full lifecycle management from planning to close-out, with emphasis on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, a solid understanding of construction processes and budgets, and the ability to coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience managing complex construction projects.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Experience with MS Project or Primavera.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, and resource allocation.
• Oversee all phases of the construction project lifecycle from inception to completion.
• Coordinate on-site activities and supervision of subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance on site.
• Manage budgets and implement cost-control measures.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities to ensure project requirements are met.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and address issues proactively.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including progress reports and change orders.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations on site.
