Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to lead major building and infrastructure projects in Vereeniging and the Gauteng region. You will oversee planning, budgeting, and on-site delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in CM or Civil Eng, at least 10 years of experience, strong leadership and project-management software proficiency, and a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management software and SA building standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Lead project teams, including site staff, contractors, and consultants.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, and subcontractor management.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality compliance on site.
• Monitor project finances and implement cost-control measures.
• Serve as main client liaison and provide progress reports.
