Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to lead major building and infrastructure projects in Vereeniging and the Gauteng region. You will oversee planning, budgeting, and on-site delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in CM or Civil Eng, at least 10 years of experience, strong leadership and project-management software proficiency, and a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and contract administration.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned and results-driven Construction Manager to lead diverse building and infrastructure projects in Vereeniging and the wider Gauteng region. This senior role involves strategic planning, budget management, team leadership, and ensuring the successful, safe, and timely completion of all construction activities. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, from initial planning and resource allocation to final handover, ensuring adherence to quality standards and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership acumen and a comprehensive understanding of the construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for construction projects.
• Lead, manage, and motivate project teams, including site staff, contractors, and consultants.
• Oversee procurement, contract negotiations, and the management of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations on site.
• Manage project finances, track expenses, and implement cost-control measures effectively.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and managing expectations.

Requirements
