Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction and facilities management projects in Vereeniging. You will handle planning, design, execution and handover, ensuring infrastructure uptime and safety while coordinating with architects, engineers and contractors.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in construction project management, strong SA regulatory knowledge, and proficiency in MS Project and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in project management for construction and facilities.
• Knowledge of SA building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of construction projects from planning through handover.
• Develop detailed plans covering scope, budget, schedule, resources and risk.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and internal teams.
• Oversee site preparation, construction activities and quality control.
• Manage budgets, expenditures, invoices and financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for existing facilities.
• Provide regular project status reports to senior management.
• Lead project teams and foster a collaborative environment.
