Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Civil Project Manager to oversee diverse construction projects in Vereeniging, Gauteng. You will manage planning, procurement, execution and closeout, ensuring projects are on time, within budget and of the highest quality.

Strong leadership and a proven track record in civil projects are required. The role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to lead large-scale developments in Vereeniging and contribute to Gauteng's infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related construction management required.
• Professional registration (Pr Eng/Pr CPM) is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel within the Gauteng region.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans with scope, budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Manage site operations, contractor coordination, and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental standards, and building codes.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigations.
• Conduct site inspections and progress meetings.
