Placements24 is assisting a renowned residential developer in Vereeniging, Gauteng, to recruit a seasoned Construction Project Manager. You will oversee pre-construction through handover on large-scale communities, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality standards.

The role requires 8+ years in residential construction, a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, strong leadership, safety compliance, and proficiency with MS Project or Procore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years in construction project management with large residential developments.
• Proven track record delivering on time and within budget.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Experience with MS Project or Procore and MS Office.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel within Vereeniging region and operate in a hybrid setup.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans (scope, schedule, budget, resources).
• Oversee on-site construction activities and productivity.
• Contract and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies on site.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions.
• Manage project documentation and financial records.
• Site visits for quality control and design compliance.
• Liaise with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, track expenditures, approve payments.
• Resolve site issues and disputes effectively.
• Ensure handover and closeout procedures.
