Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead construction and facilities management projects in Vereeniging, Gauteng. The role involves planning, executing and closing projects to ensure safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence, with hands-on on-site responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in construction project management, strong knowledge of processes and blueprints, and proficiency with MS Project and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in project management for construction or facilities management.
• Proven track record delivering building and renovation projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials and practices.
• Knowledge of facilities management and maintenance operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects from design to handover.
• Develop detailed schedules, budgets and resource plans.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and internal teams to meet objectives.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations and permits.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality and safety.
• Manage facilities maintenance projects and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and authorities.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans.
• Manage project documentation and change orders.
• Ensure cost-effective use of project resources.
