Placements24 is partnering with a rapidly expanding international fintech to recruit a Senior Compliance Officer for a fully remote role. The position requires deep knowledge of AML/KYC, GDPR, and cross-border regulatory standards, with at least seven years in compliance or risk within financial services or fintech.

You will lead development of compliance programs, monitor regulatory changes, and advise business units across multiple jurisdictions while working from a remote setup.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree or CAMS/CRCM preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field within financial services or fintech.
• In-depth knowledge of AML, KYC, GDPR, CCPA and international standards.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain robust compliance policies and procedures for the organization.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the company's operations and compliance framework.
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance breaches and areas of weakness.
• Investigate compliance incidents and develop remediation plans as necessary.
• Provide expert advice and training to employees on AML and KYC procedures.
• Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and facilitate regulatory examinations.
• Oversee development and execution of compliance programs, ensuring adherence to laws and statutes.
• Prepare regular compliance reports for senior management and the board of directors.
