The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in community development or social work, with at least 2 years in supervision, and strong project management, communication, and analytical skills. Travel may be occasional.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

A relevant degree in Social Work, Psychology, Community Development, or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in community development, social work, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Proven experience in program management and development within the non-profit or social care sector. Strong understanding of social issues, community dynamics, and support systems relevant to South Africa. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency in project management tools and virtual collaboration platforms. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally if required (though the role is primarily remote). Passion for making a positive difference in the community.
