Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with ≥8 years post-qualification experience in commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of South African civil procedure and evidence law.
• Ability to manage multiple dockets and work autonomously in a hybrid team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and conduct commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Advise business units on potential legal risks and dispute resolution strategies.
• Draft pleadings, notices, and other court documents.
• Negotiate settlements and manage external litigation counsel.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare case assessments.
• Ensure compliance with procedural rules and timelines in all litigation matters.
