The ideal candidate has 7+ years post-admission experience, strong drafting and advocacy skills, and a track record of handling complex disputes for diverse clients. Relocation may be considered.

Qualifications

• Must be an admitted attorney in the High Court of South Africa.
• Minimum 7 years post-admission experience in commercial litigation.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on complex commercial disputes.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlements, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients in court, arbitrations, and mediations across sectors.
• Provide strategic legal advice on risk management, dispute resolution, and compliance.
• Manage a caseload of complex litigation from inception to resolution.
• Liaise with opposing counsel, clients, witnesses, and experts.
• Mentor and supervise junior legal professionals and paralegals.
• Stay updated on legislation and precedents impacting commercial law in SA.
