Job summary

Garden Route Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd seeks an experienced commercial insurance professional to own a portfolio of major commercial clients. You will analyse client insurance programmes, identify risks and opportunities, and challenge insurers when necessary to make the client’s life easier.

The role requires RE5, an NQF Level 5 insurance qualification, and 5–10 years’ experience with significant commercial clients. Knysna-based, with preference for local candidates.

Qualifications

• RE5 and NQF Level 5 insurance qualification required.
• 5–10 years’ relevant commercial insurance experience.
• Experience with significant commercial clients.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance, underwriting, policy wordings, rates, excesses and warranties.
• Confidence to negotiate with insurers and advise clients professionally.
