Qualifications

About the Role Our client, a reputable construction firm, is seeking a diligent and hands-on Civil Site Engineer to oversee construction activities on various projects in and around Vereeniging, Gauteng . This role is integral to ensuring that construction projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for interpreting engineering plans, supervising site operations, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with all technical specifications and safety regulations. The ideal candidate possesses strong practical knowledge of construction methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders. This is a site-based position requiring a proactive approach and a commitment to delivering successful project outcomes in a demanding environment. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site civil engineering construction activities.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide construction work.

• Proven experience in supervising construction activities for infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, earthworks, drainage).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
