Placements24 in Gauteng seeks a seasoned Lead Civil Project Engineer to spearhead conceptualization, design and implementation of diverse civil projects for urban development and public infrastructure. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholder relationships to ensure delivery on time and within budget.

The role demands proven leadership of large-scale infrastructure from concept to closeout, strong project management skills and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit MEP.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• At least 10 years of progressive civil engineering project management experience.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• Proven leadership of large-scale infrastructure projects from concept to closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of civil projects including transportation, water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Develop scopes, objectives and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Oversee design documents, specifications and construction drawings.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting and cost control.
• Coordinate engineering teams, consultants and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site visits and provide construction stage support.
• Manage risk and mitigation across all project phases.
• Maintain client liaison and foster repeat business.
• Present updates and proposals to senior management and clients.
