Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related safety-focused discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in process safety engineering within chemical or petrochemical industries.
• In-depth knowledge of PSM principles, risk assessment methodologies, and relevant safety standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
• Experience with safety software and tools for consequence modeling and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PHAs (HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA) to identify and evaluate risks.
• Develop, implement, and maintain process safety management programs.
• Ensure compliance with national and international process safety regulations and standards.
• Investigate process safety incidents, near misses, and deviations to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver process safety training to engineers, operators, and personnel.
• Review engineering designs and modifications to ensure safety considerations are addressed.
