Qualifications

• Significant professional experience as a Character Artist with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and sculpting using Maya, ZBrush or Blender.
• Texturing and material creation with Substance Painter and Photoshop.
• Solid understanding of human and creature anatomy and proportions.
• Experience with real-time engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Model, sculpt, and texture high- and low-polygon character assets for real-time engines and cinematics.
• Create realistic or stylized PBR materials and shaders for characters.
• Collaborate with riggers to ensure characters are well-structured for animation.
• Work with art directors to define design and maintain visual consistency.
• Optimize assets for performance without sacrificing visual quality.
• Stay current with industry trends and techniques in character creation.
