Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie in a quality kitchen.
• Experience in a luxury hotel, restaurant or wine estate environment would be advantageous.
• Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation.
• Ability to manage a kitchen section independently.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the daily operation of an allocated kitchen section.
• Prepare, cook and present dishes to the highest standards.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, portion control and presentation.
• Assist with menu development and the implementation of seasonal dishes.
• Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff where required.
• Ensure all food preparation is completed efficiently and on time.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist with training and developing junior team members.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing an allocated kitchen section, ensuring consistently high food quality, presentation and preparation standards while supporting the wider kitchen team.
