Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a skilled Senior Chef de Partie for a prestigious wine farm in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. The successful candidate will manage an allocated kitchen section, ensuring high food quality, presentation and preparation standards while supporting the wider kitchen team.

The ideal candidate has prior Senior CDP or CDP experience in a quality kitchen, with strong culinary skills and a passion for food. Luxury hotel or wine estate background is advantageous.

Competenze

• Previous experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie in a quality kitchen.
• Experience within a luxury hotel, restaurant or wine estate environment would be advantageous.
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for food.
• Excellent knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation.
• Ability to manage a kitchen section independently.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional attitude and a team-oriented approach.

Mansioni

• Take full responsibility for the daily operation of an allocated kitchen section.
• Prepare, cook and present dishes to the highest standards.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, portion control and presentation.
• Assist with menu development and seasonal dishes.
• Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff where required.
• Ensure all food preparation is completed efficiently and on time.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist with training and developing junior team members.
