Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a Senior Business Analyst III to drive analysis across large, complex initiatives in the Johannesburg area. The role requires banking sector experience, strong BA skills, and proficiency with process modelling standards such as BPMN.

You will plan, elicit, document, and manage requirements through delivery, partnering with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. The candidate will lead requirements life cycle activities, shape future states, and evaluate solution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, CS or information systems.
• 8–10 years of experience as a business analyst in complex projects.
• Experience with systems design, testing or troubleshooting is a plus.
• Banking industry experience is required.
• Familiarity with process modelling standards such as BPMN.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate BA efforts on large/complex initiatives.
• Elicit requirements and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Analyze and document requirements, designs and data flows.
• Manage Requirements Life Cycle from inception to retirement.
• Define future states and transition plans for solutions.
• Evaluate solutions for performance and value realization.
• Apply agile delivery and Lean principles per BA methods.
• Document epics, features, stories and acceptance criteria.
