Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to assess, map and optimize complex business processes in a financial services context. You will work on end-to-end analysis, crafting requirements with Use Cases, modelling processes and collaborating with architecture teams.

The role emphasizes delivering formal projects, applying BPMN/ECP standards, and facilitating workshops with stakeholders up to the executive level.

Qualifications

Eight years of experience as a business analyst involved with assessing, mapping and optimizing business processes.
Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and Service-oriented Architecture (SOA) is advantageous.
Experience using Use Cases to specify requirements (Business and System).
Understanding of data modelling and ability to perform basic SQL queries is advantageous.
Experience in the financial services environment would be advantageous.
Experience facilitating workshops with business users up to executive level.
Delivery of formal projects implementing business process change including process automation.
Knowledge of BPMN and ECP for process modelling; UML for collaboration with system analysts.
Business Process Reengineering; Workflow automation; Business Rules Engines.
Experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics and Reporting; Change Management.

Responsibilities

To deal with and influence the strategic and tactical aspects of discovering, validating, documenting and communicating business process knowledge through modelling.
Focus is on complex business outcomes and technical aspects in line with the business strategy.
