Based on-site, you will develop conceptual designs, performing detailed calculations, and deliver construction drawings in compliance with SANS and international standards.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree with a structural/bridge focus, 5+ years of bridge design experience, proficiency in MIDAS Civil, LUSAS, and

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering with Structural/Bridge focus.
• 5+ years of bridge design experience.
• Proficiency with bridge design and analysis software.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural analysis and design of bridges using steel, concrete, and composite structures.
• Develop conceptual designs, preliminary layouts, and detailed design calculations.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and contract documents for tender/construction.
• Ensure designs comply with SANS and international codes.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and stakeholders for integrated design.
• Conduct site inspections to support construction and resolve design issues.
• Review design reports and shop drawings submitted by contractors.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.
