Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer focused on bridge design to lead the structural engineering for major transport projects in Limpopo. You will oversee design, analysis, and detailing, ensuring safety and cost-effectiveness while mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires an advanced degree and Pr Eng registration, with at least eight years of bridge experience. A hybrid work model combines Polokwane office work with site visits and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering with bridge focus.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is required.
• 8+ years of dedicated bridge design/analysis experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead bridge design and analysis across multiple typologies.
• Prepare drawings, specs, and construction documentation.
• Ensure compliance with SANS and international codes.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate project teams.
• Conduct site visits and supervise construction activities.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and client communications.
